We’ve talked about this before… scaling=growth!

Once you’ve established that you’re ready to scale your brand (see 3 reasons your idea won’t scale here!) it’s time for the rubber to meet the road.

Scaling your business isn’t easy, but it’s necessary to grow your brand, your outreach, and your $$.

I’ve scaled my business on X successfully. I’ve also hired many though X.

Few of my fav friends and consultants I’ve hired:

Here’s how I did it (and you can too!)

1. 🤪 Be yourself

Be honest about who you are and the experiences you’re having with your business.

  • A day in your life: Talk about day-to-day experiences relating to your brand. What cool things are going on? What is driving you crazy? You have to be seen as a real person to get business like a real person.

  • Know what you stand for: If something you’re passionate about is trending, post about it. Especially if it relates to your brand. Think about getting like-minded individuals drawn to you.

This tweet blew up over the weekend with 1.7 million people engaging. Ok ok, let’s calm down tweeters.

2. 🤓 Use creative engagement

It can’t be all text posts and reaction gifs. Think about ways to get followers and viewers by interacting with what you have to say.

  • Polls: Asking short questions in a poll can give you feedback on your market, but also prompt for discussions with your followers. Think about it from a brand perspective (what product would you like to see next?) and from a personal aspect (Sushi or BBQ for dinner?) If you follow me you’ll notice I have a sweet spot between both themes. People need to get to know you but you also need to stay as much of an anomaly to them as possible.

    • Open-ended questions: Instead of a 2 or 3-option poll, think of open-ended questions to gain replies to posts. This has been one of my most successful ways to boost interactions. People LOVE giving their opinions.

  • Clickbait: Be careful with this one. Keep it true to your feelings and avoid rage-baiting followers just for the sake of views. Y’all know I’ve been through some stuff on this platform. Saying something “wrong” in the initial tweet and following it with the “right” thing in the replies might get people to click just because they’re curious. Keeping up with trends and viral concepts can help get engagement.

3. 💥 Leverage going viral

Similar to the clickbait point, keep your finger on the pulse. Most people that use X spend a lot of their time on the “For You” side of their feed instead of the “Following” side. Gaining followers is great, but try to get your posts on the “For You” side too!

  • Look at what’s trending: Open up the search section of the app and scroll through the trending concepts. Do any of these relate to your brand? Do you have strong thoughts on them? Avoid politics but if everyone’s talking about the Olympics, make a funny post about how your activewear brand could have gotten USA the gold!

  • Be timely: Nothing looks more out of touch than being a day late. Check regularly on what’s trending and jump on opportunities as they come up.

  • Don’t depend on hashtags: It’s rare nowadays for specific hashtags to go viral. Look at topics and phrases and integrate those keywords into your posts. Think of it like X-SEO!

This cannabis startup pioneered “rapid onset” gummies

Most people prefer to smoke cannabis but that isn’t an option if you’re at work or in public.

That’s why we were so excited when we found out about Mood’s new Rapid Onset THC Gummies. They can take effect in as little as 5 minutes without the need for a lighter, lingering smells or any coughing.

Nobody will ever know you’re enjoying some THC.

We recommend you try them out because they offer a 100% money-back guarantee. And for a limited time, you can receive 20% off with code FIRST20.
