3 Alexa-Approved side hustles

1. Do social media for a local biz in your area. Compile a list of companies (or buy my one) and call them. Start the call with introducing yourself and then ask if they’re looking for anyone to help them with social media. Start with smaller businesses in your hood and work your way up to larger brand clients. Having social media experience is appealing to any company you may want to work for in the future.

2. Do you like copywriting or dream of being a professional writer? Become a podcast producer. DM some of your fav podcast hosts on Twitter or LinkedIn and see if they have a podcast producer. Gain up a few clients at an affordable weekly rate (this rate can be higher if you edit podcasts!) and you’re able to add producer to your resume. Baller!

3. Pitch a coffee shop! If you’re looking to embark into the social media, marketing or consulting world (or maybe you just love free Joe) reach out to a coffee shop in your area. Ask if they’re interested in having someone create content in return for unlimited snacks and drinks. You can easily ask for money but if you’re like me and just love overpriced lattes, it may be worth asking to do a trade.
