They’re a private company, but Pacaso just reserved the Nasdaq ticker “$PCSO.”

No surprise the same firms that backed Uber, eBay, and Venmo already invested in Pacaso. What is unique is Pacaso is giving the same opportunity to everyday investors. And 10,000+ people have already joined them.

Created a former Zillow exec who sold his first venture for $120M, Pacaso brings co-ownership to the $1.3T vacation home industry.

They’ve generated $1B+ worth of luxury home transactions across 2,000+ owners. That’s good for more than $110M in gross profit since inception, including 41% YoY growth last year alone.

And you can join them today for just $2.90/share. But don’t wait too long. Invest in Pacaso before the opportunity ends September 18.

What is a personal brand?

A personal brand” is all about presentation. It’s a consistent way of expressing yourself and your business. It's the combination of your values, personality, skills, experiences, and how they come across both on and offline. It’s what people associate you with when they hear your name or company.

It goes far beyond having a professional head-shot and a well-written LinkedIn summary. It is your cadence and distinct flair. It’s about shaping how your industry and community will perceive you.

Are you relatable, quirky, and laid back? Or are you professional, and fast responding? That is your personal brand.

Some elements to consider when building your personal brand:

Voice/Tone: How do you communicate with your audience?

  • Are you formal, casual, inspiring, or authoritative?

  • How quickly do you respond to messages or comments?

-Are you easy to reach or exclusive?

Visual Identity: Your profile photo, logo, colors, and design choices.

  • Use this as an opportunity to be creative and engaging in a different medium. Really carry that voice and personality over visually!

  • What colors can people associate with you? (And make sure this is consistent, you want people to be able to trust who you are)

Values: What beliefs do you represent? What do you stand for?

  • Are you strictly focused on your niche and area of business?

  • Do you make political takes?

    -what kind?

  • What emotions or reaction do you value receiving from your audience?

Expertise: What do you do? What you’re known for or want to be known for.

  • What can people look to you for?

    -Do you report on fashion?

-Do you give your audience budgeting tips?

    -Are you a baker?

Content: How do you share online?

  • What do your online thoughts, opinions, articles, and videos reflect about you?

  • Do you post short or long video clips and how are they formatted?

  • Do you only post pictures?

  • Is your content faceless or are you a part of the brand?

Reputation: What are people saying about your work, reliability, or results?

Take GirlBoss for example!

  • GirlBoss values building community between women of all walks of life and encouraging them to pursue their dreams no matter how big or “nontraditional” which also ties into their expertise. Their message is clear.

  • They have a very positive and relatable tone. They are comforting, you feel like the posts are coming from a motivating friend.

  • Their visuals are fun and vibrant! They use a lot of colors that are associated with femininity like pink, purple, and yellow, and the collage-style posts they use also adds to a sense of relatability and even the nostalgic feeling of girlhood

  • For content they often post memes related to their theme of woman-hood, viral videos, and articles meant to guide women to success.

It is evident that GirlBoss knows their audience and can pull them in with relatable posts associated to their values, but can also seamlessly guide their viewers to the more serious topics that connect to their expertise. Their consistent use of color and other mediums that drive the point of girl-hood, community, and success all creates trust and clarity for anyone wondering who they are. GirlBoss stands firm in their identity and their unique choices allows them to stand out in a crowd of other companies.

Why your brand matters:

  1. Building trust

    1. People do business with people and companies they trust. That trust comes from a consistent message, clarity, and authenticity; all of which are key pillars of a strong personal brand.

  2. Helps you stand out in a crowded market

    a. In a sea of resumes or portfolios, your personal brand is the human element that makes yours memorable!

    b. It is unique to you!

  3. People google you

    1. Before a meeting, interview, or collaboration, people take the time to look you up online. What they find shapes their expectations—and thus your opportunities. Your personal brand controls the narrative before you even get the chance to speak.

  4. Career flexibility

    1. Whether you pivot careers, launch a side hustle, or start a business, a strong personal brand helps you make those transitions smoother. You’re not starting from scratch—you’re building on a pre-established reputation.

  5. A great way for opportunities to find you

    1. If you’re consistently showing your expertise in a specific area, you become the go-to person for it! A clear and visible personal brand can attract a multitude of opportunities, like job offers, business partnerships, connections, and more.

We all know that first impressions matter, and your personal brand is the impression that lasts forever. It’s your digital handshake, reputation, and story all combined into one.

Overall…

Your personal brand is already being formed—with or without your input. Taking control of it doesn’t mean becoming someone else, it means becoming more of who you already are—intentionally and consistently!

In a busy, bustling world, your personal brand is your clarity. Own it, shape it, and let it open doors for you.
